Undergraduate Researcher
Hey, I’m Fariha and I’m an honors STEM Scholar senior studying Molecular and Cell Biology with a minor in Bioinformatics. I’ve been an undergraduate researcher in the Goldhamer Lab since May 2022 and completed a SURF grant during the summer of 2023. My research investigates the effect of Acvr1R206H expression in muscle stem cells on skeletal muscle regeneration. Beyond research, I work as a Peer Research Ambassador for the UConn Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR) and a WOW captain, and serve as the President for STEM Scholars and the President of the Bangladeshi Student Association.
