I am Raaga Pulya, a first year undergraduate student, majoring in physiology and neurobiology and minoring in healthcare management and insurance studies. I am working with Heather Jamieson, and am studying two of the myogenic regulatory factors, MYOD and MYF5, and their significance in skeletal muscle regeneration. Outside of research, I am also a part of UConn’s Indian Classical singing group, Sadhana, and UConn’s Camp Kesem division.
