Hi! I’m Alvina, and I am currently a freshman majoring in Physiology and Neurobiology. I am also a part of the Special Program in Medicine (SPiM). I joined the Goldhamer Lab during the fall of my freshman year, and I am working alongside Ingrid Schwarz to investigate how fascia-resident tenocyte-like cells initiate early heterotropic ossification in FOP mice. Outside the lab, I enjoy running, hiking, and skiing!
