Hi! I am Ingrid, currently studying what specific cell types drive HO in FOP mice. We know one key causal cell of HO is FAPs, but preliminary data suggests there may be more! I graduated from CCSU with an undergraduate degree in Biomolecular Sciences the Spring of 2023, where my background was almost completely in microbiology. I joined UConn in the Fall of 2023 where I have found my home in Cell and Developmental. When I am not sciencing, I enjoy lounging with my cat, drawing, and baking (and apparently making websites)!
