Hi! I am Ingrid, a first year PhD student, currently beginning my studies on tenocyte-like cell driven HO in FOP mice. I am interested in this due to its more sudden and robust phenotype when compared to that of fibroadipogenic progenitors, which we previously found as key causal cells of HO. I am also investigating the origins of fibrotic and adipose tissue in muscular dystrophy mouse models.
