PhD Candidate
Hello, I am Russell Hanson, and I received my bachelor’s degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut in 2015. After a couple of years working in the pharmaceutical industry, I returned to the university to work under Dr. Goldhamer. My research delves into the interactions between stem cells and how they contribute to the pathogenesis of the rare disease Fibrodysplasia Ossificans Progressiva. In my down time, I enjoy watching UConn basketball, smoking meats, and playing disc golf!
